Following up from the tremendous success of the Mad Maximillian rules and Eureka’s initial release, our next wave of goodies both big and small come roaring off the production line...
One thing we have been asked about a lot for Maximillian are motorcycles and it is fitting that Mana Press have written additional rules for them in their supplement to Maximillian 1934, The Grande Tour. Our new motorcycles designed by the excellent Luc Poloni. with riders sculpted by Kosta Heristanidis. form three tandem pairs offering a varied array of firepower, or two single variants for those who like to zip about the outback swiftly and hopefully, unnoticed.
The White Lightning was one of the highlights of the first rule book and Luc has made sure we have a strong, smooth production model for it. And who can resist a mono-wheel. Again Luc has designed the bike and base, with Kosta providing the human element and inspiration came from here: https://miepvonsydow.wordpress.com/2015/03/01/man-riding-a-monowheel-ca-1931/
We have also fitted out two new heavy hitting racers, the Routemaster and the Flying Wombat. Inspiration for these came from the existing Pursuit car with additional aeroplane fittings added from Inter-War bombers. The pilots were inspired by this photo of Frenchmen Nungesser and Coli, who may have made the first Transatlantic crossing by plane in 1927 (look it up).
