New Release: 28mm 1970's Portuguese figures for wars in Angola and Mozambique

Eureka's Southern African Wars ranges have been enduringly popular and now Kosta as added eleven new 28mm 1970's Portuguese figures.
Armed struggle in the colonies of Angola and Mozambique began in earnest during the early 1960's and continued until 1975 when all European troops were withdrawn.
Period photos usually show troops lightly equipped, in belt order and carrying little more than weapons and ammunition as well as water canteens, and these are the types of troops we've added to the range, this time in action poses.
The new firing and advancing figures augment the patrolling figures already available.

We've added new riflemen and a radio operator, all armed with G3 assault rifles, as well as an MG3 machine gunner.
The MG3 man is inspired by a period photo depicting a Portuguese soldier whose machine gun has had its bipod removed and has added a field-expedient sling.

A two-man Lanca Foguetes 37mm rocket-launcher team are available in firing position, and we've added a patrolling loader to the original set too.

And finally, two men armed with the Portuguese FPB m/948 sub-machine gun, equally suitable as officers or NCOs, round out the range.
And of course, Eureka's extensive range of Cold War African guerrillas are perfect adversaries for these figures.
