Flank company, marching, covered shako
The British infantry battalion's elite flank companies, Light and Grenadier, respectively, provided critical skirmishing and assault capabilities that distinguished them in the line of battle from their battalion's centre companies. The British Waterloo Line Infantry uniform featured red wool tunics, gray campaign trousers, and the distinctive 1812 "Waterloo" or "Belgic" shako. To shield against harsh weather, many were covered in oilskin. Sculpted by Alan Marsh, these 18mm figures are made of metal and supplied as a random mix. Figures are unpainted, requiring some assembly .. Price per figure. Three variants.
