The Saxon Schützen of 1806-1809 wore the standard white regimental uniforms, but with distinctive green plumes on their bicorns to set them apart as skilled marksmen. Initially pulled from line regiments, they begun operating in independent light infantry battalions by 1808, notably the von Metzch and von Egidy battalions, each organized into four companies for flexible, precise battlefield roles.
These 18mm metal figures, sculpted by Alan Marsh, are unpainted and come in a random mix of variants, requiring some assembly and cleanup. Two variants. Price per figure.

Scale: 18mm Era: The Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars Period: The Napoleonic Wars Nation: Saxony
