Game Description:
The Gladiators game uses the basic Tribal ruleset. It is a drop-in participation game, where you can play a gladiator for a quick 5-minute battle of survival or stay on and play your gladiator in a series of contests to build honour and glory in the arena.
The games showcase the close combat focus of the Tribal rules. Tribal utilises a standard deck of playing cards for all aspects of game play i.e. movement, initiative and the dueling nature of close combat. The aim of combat is to gain glory. This does not mean a combatant must kill his opponent, an impressive bout of defensive combat is just as crowd pleasing.
